Thank you!
Thank you for replacing my Blade limit switch so quickly. It’s working fine now.
Every Docking Drawer outlet comes equipped with an integrated safety feature designed to automatically de-energize power whensurrounding temperatures exceed 120°F. In applications where heat-generating connected inside the drawer, such as hot styling tools or toaster ovens, this product offers an additional layer of safety and peace of mind (as well as CEC* compliance in Canada).
The Blade Limit Switch fastens to the rear mounting bracket of your Blade Series outlet, and when the drawer begins to open, the switch is depressed, turning ON your in-drawer outlet. As the drawer begins to close, the switch is expanded, triggering the Safety Interlock Outlet to de-energize the connected Docking Drawer outlet. The Blade Limit Switch can be adjusted to de-energize the drawer at a preferred position.
The Safety Interlock Outlet is a single gang electrical outlet featuring one NEMA 5-15 or 5-20 receptacle and one low voltage interlock switch connector. The outlet fits into a standard junction box, so it is quick and easy to install. Installing the Blade Limit Switch onto the rear mounting bracket of the Blade outlet takes just a few minutes, requiring a screwdriver and the included screws to attach and then adjust as needed to allow the the switch to move in and out to the point where it would need to de-energize.
The system complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) for the United States as well as the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)*. It is also ETL Listed for use in both the United States and Canada. Docking Drawer's commitment to safety extends beyond traditional measures with our collection of safety outlets, designed to create safer spaces that are designed to empower modern lifestyles. This advanced, patented safety technology ensures a seamless and secure disconnection of power without the need for manual intervention.
*The Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) has the final say on whether an installation meets the requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code.

The safty interlock should be 15-20 amp. config with maximum 2400 watts @ 120Volts for more purposes like when it is instaled in the bathroom for hairdryer that pull usualy 1500 watts and may be more, the 20 amps. config give more range for the appliances connected between the specifications of the devise insted the 15 amps in the bathroom, it have more chances to work the most offten times near the maximum specs of the device (The safty interlock). In Canada, in the province of Québec whith our Code the config 15-20 sould be great for the appliances on the kitchin counter, and in accordance with our Code for the plugs instaled in less of 1.5 meters from the sink. Here it has to be 15-20 amps config. Sorry for my english, i'm french! If you have any questions, you could callme at 514 726 2096 or rpelect@hotmail.com
